Project description

The mission of Transit Oriented Dallas-Fort Worth (TODFW) is to:
Support and amplify the efforts of public transit agencies and of the cities and counties in which they serve;
Eliminate the barriers to accessible and widespread public transit usage;
Educate the public about transportation options; and
Empower communities to develop the best transit solutions to meet their needs.

TODFW aims to be the public volunteer arm of public transit agencies in the DFW Metroplex.

Public transit agencies are focused on the nuts and bolts of maintaining a fleet of vehicles and managing the people who operate them. TODFW will be focused on those who wish to, in their capacity as private citizens, improve the transit experience for everyone.
